2 hour lesson created for the new 2020 PSHE guidelines all about: 1) unplanned pregnancies, the options available to those who find themselves in this position, e.g abortion and adoption, where further support can be found and your legal and financial entitlements. 2) Miscarriages - what these are, the symptoms, the different reasons why these happen and the effects they can have on people as well as where further support and advice can be found.
This resource pack includes a two-hour long PowerPoint with accompanying worksheets, well differentiated activities, literacy focus tasks, clip tasks with three-way differentiated questions and information sheets, creative tasks and optional progress sheets. The resources are all in the ZIP file, the images have been uploaded so you can clearly see an example on Tes of some of the contents.

This detailed 23 page PSHE / RSE workbook has been created for the new PSHE / RSE and Health 2020 Statutory Guidance and focuses on drugs, their effects, UK law, addiction and harm reduction. It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete.
The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. This could be left as cover (as appropriate to the class and cover teacher) as there’s nothing explicit on the relationships side of things and all of the terminology is carefully explained. No internet access needed.

**Making and keeping friends KS1 PSHE lesson. **
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities may also be suitable for younger KS2 children (Year 3).
In this lesson, the students will learn about making friends, including the dos and don’ts of meeting new people . We will discuss places where we can make new friendships and reflect on the bests way to let someone know that you would like to be friends with them.
The lesson includes a case study starter, a video clip with accompanying questions, a puzzle activity and a plenary task.

Drugs PSHE lesson - Noz, Hippie Crack, Laughing Gas - whatever you call it, students need to be well aware of the dangers. This new lesson focuses on the health risks and the law surrounding the abuse of nitrous oxide and contains invaluable information for any secondary group. This is all new content (2024) and all editable. The lesson will last you an hour and is suitable for KS3 or KS4.

2 HOURS - In this double lesson students will explore the concept of financial exploitation, with particular regard to online scams and money laundering. They will investigate how easy it is to fall for a scam, the common techniques used by scammers and how to spot one. Students will then focus on a growing criminal industry which young people often fall victim to; money laundering. They will discover how money laundering works, what happens to the victims, the penalties, and how criminals operate to trick people and avoid detection.

A Medical Ethics Unit lasting 12 hours (one lesson is a double) that was created for Year 9 RE, but could easily be used for a capable Year 8 or none-GCSE KS4 group.
Each lesson is very detailed, editable and differentiated three ways with colour-coded challenge tasks for every activity. The lessons are very easy to follow as all the instructions are on the PowerPoints and worksheets. Each of the individual lessons have had excellent reviews so far.

What are the religious and ethical views on abortion? A lesson exploring the pro-choice and pro-life debate and introducing the concept of sanctity and quality of life.
What are the religious and ethical views on euthanasia? A lesson examining the quality vs sanctity of life debate in detail while examining types of euthanasia and religious views on these.
Stem Cell Research - an investigation into embryology and the controversial issues surrounding the science. The lesson investigates how scripture can be applied to these issues and why there is so much debate.
Capital Punishment and The Death Penalty - a two hour lesson which focuses on capital punishment, its legal status around the world, the moral and religious arguments for and against and the history of the death penalty.
Drugs and morality - a lesson exploring the moral and religious debate around drug use before examining religious quotes and practicing GCSE style exam questions.
Genetic Engineering - an overview lesson on test tube and designer babies as well as religious objections to the technology, with a focus on Christianity and Islam.

Personal identity PSHE lesson. A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson has been created for Year 3, however, the contents of the lesson are suitable for students across KS2.
In this lesson, the students will learn about the different things that make up a person’s identity. We’ll discuss personal qualities, values, likes and dislikes, ethnicity, and how a person’s culture relates to their sense of identity. The students will identify features of their own identities and create a passport to record key information about themselves.
The lesson includes an information sheet, a video clip task, a key term matching activity, a creative task, and a plenary activity.

They will uncover the devastating effects some drugs have on communities and individual lives, as well as the debate around cannabis, and why some drugs are legal in some countries whilst not in others. Perfect as an introduction lesson for KS3 or as a comprehensive recap for KS4. Includes lesson plan.
